L R Fischer Attorneys is a dynamic law firm founded in 2025 by Liesl Fischer, an experienced family law attorney with over 18 years of experience specifically in family law and ancillary matters.
Liesl’s passion for law began at a young age and she was determined to study law since her teens. Her deep interest in family law began at the University of Stellenbosch whilst learning about the soon to be promulgated Childrens Act.
After graduating from Stellenbosch in 2005, Liesl managed to secure her articles at a leading family law firm in Cape Town and went on to spend 14 years there. Throughout her time there Liesl attended several international conferences including co-presenting a paper at the London Metropolitan University. This helped her gain invaluable international experience and exposure.
Following her years of experience, Liesl took on the role of Head of Family law at a prominent Paarl firm. After almost 3 years in this position, Liesl decided to found L R Fischer Attorneys to enable her to guide clients through the legal processes with personal care and professionalism. The firm’s ethos is centered on providing clear, effective legal solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
